Question of the Week: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go for a 'readcation'?
My readcation destination would be a very secluded and exotic island. Doesn't matter where (okay, being close to Johnny Depp would be a plus) as long as it is private and warm, with a comfy hammock for me to read in, a beautiful view and a hot, half-nekkid cabana cutie to serve me drinks, feed me pineapple and *waggles eye brows* cool me off when I get to those smexy scenes in my reads. ;) I would pack lots of books of course, very little clothing and my Nook. :D
So what about you? Where would you go for a readcation? Some exotic location, a hidden cabin in the mountains, a villa in Italy, a library you saw a picture of or somewhere in your own backyard maybe?
Mine is the beach.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Somewhere where I could sit outside and read w/out too many distractions. I took a week off from work for a "staycation" w/ the main intent to catch up on my TBR pile and I've only read 2 books. Too many distractions! So a private beach somewhere w/ room service where I'd bring a full suitcase full of books and my Kindle Fire :)

ReplyDelete(Repeating my comment with the proper e-mail address, lol!)
ReplyDeleteI live on an island so I really don't like to go to the beach on holiday, funnily enough!
My pick is here:

ReplyDeleteAna♥ @ Beach Bum Reads - My DLS
Ahh so sorry I just realized I still have my link set to my DLS. *feels awkward* sorry again I meant my answer lol
DeleteI'd go to the Ritz on Amelia Island FL and stay on the club floor. I'd have the ocean and people waiting on me as well as all the food and drink I could want in a beautiful location conducive to reading :).

I totally agree with you! Some place really quiet where I can read in comfort and have food and drinks at my disposal.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
The beach? Johnny Depp?? *shivers* whooh! I'd love to be anywhere with that man, even if it were just the kitchen for some water!! Lmao!! x} Awesome choice Crystal :D I love it!
ReplyDelete*Just wanted to let everyone know I'll be stopping by your blogs soon after work later today, I ran out of time last night D: Sorry everyone! Have a great Friday! :D
Nice! Only thing I missed in my answer was the hammock . . . and hottie cabana boy. ;)

Ack No! Gorgeous view and the Johnny Depp bit would be really hard to pass up but oy the heat! I'm such a wimp about the heat and I grew up in FL! That pic does look really peaceful though :)
ReplyDeleteIf it were close to Johnny Depp, NO READING WOULD BE DONE. He's just too beautiful.
ReplyDeleteNew follower! Thank you for this hop!
