Question of the Week: Fight club! Heroine Vs. Heroine. Pick your two favorite kick-ass book heroines and pit them against each other. Who would win?
Kate Daniels (Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews)
Vs.
Cat Crawfield (Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost)
Really, is there anyone else? Okay, maybe Xhex (BDB) but lets be honest - is that a contest? Who would you pit her against? She could kick anyone's butt! So back to Kate and Cat, it doesn't get anymore kick-ass than those two.
Magic-wielder vs. Vampire.
Both strong, loyal, determined...okay maybe stubborn is a better word, *ahem* feisty, deadly, skilled and willing to die for others. Both have fought rebellious vampires and shifters that were suppose to be their allies for the men they love. Cat does do it all in heels though, now that is kick-ass. But who would win when it came to a showdown? Sorry Cat but my money's on Kate. Vampire-smantpires, Kate can control those suckers and even Gods better watch out for this heroine!
That's my pick for heroine fight-club, who would yours be?
Cat, hands down!
ReplyDeleteI like your choices, but I never really got into Kate Daniels, so I'd pick Cat, too :)
ReplyDeleteShe made my post as well, but I paired her up with Payne from the BDB:

I think that'd be a great fight!
Oooh. Love them both! I think I'm with you on Kate taking it :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't read either series. But they've been on my TBR list for a long time now lol... Def gotta read them!

I love this question! but I have no idea who I would pick...
ReplyDeleteGreat question this week!
ReplyDeleteCat is one of my favorite heroines too but I haven't read the Kate Daniel series!
Have a great weekend!
Still haven't read these books, but the heroines sound bad ass :D I'm gonna have to hurry and pick these books up!
ReplyDeleteGreat question this week Crystal :) Have a great weekened!
I'd pit Razchel Vincent's Faythe Keri Arthur's Riley. I think Riley would win but it would be a great match. Of your picks I think Cat would win.

This question gave me fits, trying to choose the girls. Ultimately, I went with two non-traditional kick-ass heroines.
ReplyDeletecupcake's book cupboard.
I haven't read the first book, though I have do have it... I Luvs me some Cat and Bones, tho. I thought about pitting Cat against someone, but... I dunno.. she's pretty darn awesome. :D I chose KMM's MacKayla and Nalini Singh's Elena. :D
ReplyDeleteI would have to say Kate as well. I mean she was professionally fighting since age 13 at least. Cat doesn't stand a chance and I mean that in a nice way. I do enjoy both series but Kate would wipe the floor with Cat.
ReplyDeleteI decided to go with two different heroines because really Kate would kill them all. ;o) I went with Allie Beckstrom and Gin Blanco. That one was tougher than I thought. Cat Fight
