Hottest Couple of the Week #9: Under Fire by Catherine Mann

My hottest couple this week is actually two couples from the same book; Under Fire by Catherine Mann.

Pararescueman, Liam McCabe, and SAR K-9 handler & trainer, Rachel Flores are the main characters of the story. Six months apart and the air still sizzles between them when they are reunited again. And though the author teases the reader mercilessly, those little snippets are enough to get you squirming along with the characters. Which made the moment when these two finally give in even more satisfying. ;)

Brandon and Cat are side characters and a secondary romance in the story, Brandon suffers from PTSD and Cat runs a doggy day care. Brandon feels as if he's half a man and not worthy of a relationship while Cat is shy and insecure. With Brandon though she decides to take-charge and go for what she wants, which is him. Emotional and hot, their relationship almost over-shadowed the main characters it was that dang good, even though they had only a short amount of page time.  

And of course all the people shooting at them, blowing stuff up, running them off the road and basically doing everything they can to take them out just adds more fuel to the fire that ignites between them both! lol
