My life has been consumed with taking care of a newborn orphaned kitten this last week, which inspired this week's question!
I know some might go with shifter books/characters here but I'm thinking pets so I have to go with the fabulous, Lori Foster.
QUESTION OF THE WEEK: When you think of fur-friendly authors, which author do you think of first?

Lori is a pet owner herself and almost all of the main characters in her books are pet-owners as well, sometimes she even uses her own pet's names for the character's animals or family/friend's pets. Her Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor series is a great example of this. She takes care of feral cats, gives to animal charities and is an all-around awesome lady.
Jill Shalvis also comes to mind! What about you? When you think fur-friendly authors, who do you think of?
Have a great weekend!

I'm not participating in this one since I don't have much experience with the topic. I'm excited to read this series though. It's been on my TBR for ages.
ReplyDeleteLori Foster is such a great author and I love the Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor series!
ReplyDeleteReally great blog hop question this week!
I hope you have a great reading week!
Kristan Higgins! She always has a dog in her books and on her covers.
ReplyDeleteI was gonna say Lori Foster. She's such an animal lover. She just released a book where all the profits went to a shelter. LOVE that!. Her & Carly Phillips post a lot of animal pics on their Facebook pages. I also think of Janet Evanovich as a fur-friendly author. All of her books have animals in them. The Stephanie Plum series has Rex the Hamster & Bob the Dog in every book. They are likd main characters. Love her! Great question!
