Eric Drake can't catch a damn break. First he had to deal with his psychotic father. Then he has to deal with his Pack whom he's desperately trying to help, although half of them would love nothing more than to get rid of him. Now he has to deal with the crazy lady sitting on Pack private property in a blue van with clouds, and she refuses to leave. If that wasn’t bad enough, she’s gorgeous, her scent drives him nuts, and she has a blast at telling him that he’s got red lipstick smeared on his lips.

Chelsea Smart is looking for her 19 year old sister Perry. She’s managed to track her down to the town Wesley, and found information that her sister is somewhere in these mountains with a guy. Now all she has to do is track her down. But the tall, dark, dangerous looking man says she can’t stay parked in the field she found, and Chelsea can’t really afford to go to the hotels in Wesley. As if her luck wasn’t bad enough, she has to constantly remind herself that she can’t jump attractive guy’s bones, she’s here looking for her sister. Will the two be able to keep their hands off each other while they look for Perry, or will they give in to temptation and head for heartbreak?

I love Rhyannon Byrd. She writes awesome stories, and her Bloodrunners Series doesn’t disappoint. Others who have followed this series will enjoy Eric finally getting some love that he deserves after the shitty way he’s been treated in the previous books, and throughout this one as well. Stoked to see Eric’s happy ending. Now I just need Cian’s… Four wine glass toast and I hope you all enjoy this dark wolf’s story!
