Bookcation Event: Midnight's Kiss by Donna Grant (Guest Post/Giveaway)

It's Memorial Day Weekend here in the US which means, Summer is here! Take a trip without ever leaving the comfort of your home all week long at Reading Between the Wines with our BOOKCATION event. As Summer comes barreling toward us, I’m finalizing our plans for another trip to Scotland.  There is always so much to get together for any trip, but one of the first things my two kids, my hubby, and I do is get all the books we’ll be bringing with us.

For the first time I’ll be traveling with an e-reader, as will the rest of my family.  We’re all still getting used to them, because we prefer print books.  But I have to admit, there are so many more books I can pile on an e-reader and not have to worry about carting around while traveling.

Though I will get a lot of reading done on our trip, I’ll also be visiting several places in Scotland that are featured in the Dark Sword, Dark Warrior, and Dark King books.  Then there are the ideas that always take shape while I’m there and walking the land, visiting castles, or just driving around.

Our last trip to Scotland inspired me to set MIDNIGHT’S KISS during an archeological dig after seeing some of the relics dug up during once such dig.  I knew once I added in the Druids with their magic, the immortal Highland Warriors, and a special surprise, that it was going to be a fun book to write.  And the characters didn’t disappoint me!
