Fiona's Thoughts:
Roxanne doesn't do love. She doesn't do relationships anymore. So when she gets knocked off her feet, literally by a sexy stranger, she sees it as the perfect one night stand. Ian is back home after his time in the military. He has boarder line PTSD. After running into Rox, he realizes that she calms him down with her touch. After that first night, Rox realizes that Ian is her best friend's brother, which complicates her cut and run while he was sleeping.
This is were the story got me. He wants her because she calms him, and wants to see where it goes. She wants nothing to do with relationships, always hearing her mother's voice telling her they are no good. But she feels a connection to him and agrees to go out with him. Rox kept going over in her head how love isn't real, and nothing lasts, to the point of it becoming annoying.
This book is an easy read, but still took me a few days to finish, because there wasn't anything that really grabbed me. Yes they have hot sex, but the relationship seemed rushed and you knew how it was going to end.

It was only supposed to last one night...Goodreads - Amazon - Barnes & Noble
Ian had no idea the sexy woman he took to his bed was his little sister's best friend--or that she'd refuse to give him more than one night.
Good thing this soldier likes a challenge...
