Stage Dive will be gracing the stage soon for our final set but before they do we rounded up these bad boy rockers for a little sit down to talk about their favorite cover songs. I don't think I'd be able to pick just one, there are so many great ones out here. So I'll leave it to the boys to debate. ☺

Favorite Cover Songs with Stage Dive...

David: Alright, favorite cover songs of all time. Jimmy?

Jimmy: “All These Things that I’ve Done” by The Killers. It’s a classic. Brandon Flowers has a f**king fantastic voice and everything just works in this one. The riff, the beat, great lyrics … it’s got everything. Perfect rock song, you know?

Ben: Yeah, it’s not bad. But I’m going with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, “Ain’t No Easy Way”.

Mal: Dude, does that even bass in it? How the f**k can you hear anything over all that jangling guitar? Awesome band, I’m not bagging them. But seriously…you choosing that song makes no sense.

Ben: Shut up. It’s a good song. I like it.

Mal: *big sigh*

David: What’s your song, Mal?

Mal: “The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret” by Queens of the Stoneage. All round genius piece of rock n roll.

Jimmy: Good call.

Ben: It’s okay…

Mal: You’re just saying that cause I dissed your cover. Admit it, Benny. My song’s better than your song. Admit it.

Ben: *silence*

David: Anyway, mine’s “When the Stars go Blue” by Tim McGraw.

Mal: You’re f**king kidding me.

David: What? It’s got a nice riff.

Mal: This… I can’t even… f**k. Just f**k.

Jimmy: *snorts* It’s country isn’t it?

Ben: *laughs*

David: Yeah, so?

Jimmy: Nothing, bro. All good. I think it’s cute the way you base your entire life around your wife.

Ben: Around getting laid by her, you mean. He’s whipped.

David: F**k off. I’m not whipped.

Jimmy: So, Evelyn’s, I mean David’s choice is some country song none of us have ever even heard of. But that’s fine. Whatever. 

Mal: I’m never playing that song.

Jimmy: Sure you will. We’ll even get you a nice big Stetson to wear.

Ben: We gotta do that.

David: Cool.

Mal: Die in a fire, you bastards. Davie what’s your real song? Come on, man. Something decent this time…

David: F**ks sake, alright. How about “No Quarter” by Led Zeppelin?

Mal: YES. Thank you, God. I knew my old buddy was in there somewhere and marriage hadn’t completely destroyed your taste in music.

Ben: We done?

Jimmy: We’re done.

David: Yep.

Mal: Done. Kisses from Uncle Mal to your pink bits, ladies!

David: Christ. Come on, you can’t say that sh*t.

Mal: Too late. It’s said. Goodnight.
