If I had to describe this book in two words I would use: Emotional & Erotic. Laid Bare is an excellent start to the Brown Siblings Series. As I started this book, the steaminess of it hit me right away. The scenes of Erin and Todd after they first met made my toes curl. YOWZA. It also gave a wonderful insight to Todd's struggles with his secret desire to be rough and bossy in the bedroom. Erin can't break through Todd's issues though, so they break up and go their separate ways.
Ten years later and one divorce later, Todd is back in town. Erin crosses his mind, but he doesn't really expect to see her again because he knows she's a big time musician. So when he walks into a little coffee shop and does see her, he's surprised, but pleasantly so. Now he has no qualms with admitting who he is. He's ready to explore that side of himself. And he wants to do it with her.
Erin is interested in exploring things sexually with Todd, but she has a lot of serious emotional baggage this time around. She's been through hell and back since she last saw him, and she doesn't know if she can handle Todd letting her down again.
If all of that isn't enough to bite your lip in anticipation... throw Todd's best friend Ben into the mix. He's hot, loyal, and just as kinky in the bedroom as Todd. The best part? He wants them BOTH. But will Ben get them? YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK TO FIND OUT! It's worth it, trust me. ;D
