Interview with Throwing Heat author: Jennifer Seasons

Summer may be over, but the hot dogs and ball fields are still sizzling. 

At least in our guest’s new release, THROWING HEAT. Welcome Jennifer Seasons!

Lexi: Throwing Heat is the third release in your Diamonds and Dugouts series. Each ebook is 100 pages, perfect to sit down and read them all straight through. Did you plan it out that way?  

Jennifer: First off, thanks so much for having me here!  And secondly, no I didn’t.  Each book has a different word count (all ranging between 70-80K), but with Ebook formatting  they are rearranged and something technical and magical happens that shrinks them down to 100 pages.  Still, they are the perfect easy-read size. ☺

Lexi: Sports and romance, what a fun combo. You get sweet candlelight and kisses, and sweaty men who know how to use their bodies. Are you a sports fan in real life?  

Jennifer: I definitely am.  I’m totally a hockey girl.  Not that I don’t love baseball, because I do.  Taking the family to minor league games is a favorite summer activity.  But, there’s just something about a big rugged hockey player than makes me a real fan of the sport. ☺ 

Lexi: Diamonds and Dugouts series is published by Avon Impulse. Just their name will draw readers looking for a specific book. Were you super excited to work with them?  

Jennifer: I so was!  When I first sent out my manuscript for STEALING HOME to them I was absolutely convinced they would pass on it.  Why?  Because it’s Avon.   They only take on the best of the best.  Needless to say, it’s a thrill and an honor to be an Avon author now.

Lexi: Throwing Heat is the final book in this trilogy. What curve ball do you have hidden up your sleeve for us next? Hmm, hmmm? Will you spill the beans for us?  

Jennifer: Hahaha!  I’d love to spill about my next series!  But you’d have to get the okay from my fabulous editor on that one first.  I WILL say that my next series is unexpected, a LOT of fun—and way, way sexy.  ☺  

Lexi: Congrats on your newest release. What a year for you! Hope 2014 is just as full of fun reads! Thanks for stopping by Jennifer!
