Interview with Drex and Gemini by A.M. Hargrove.
A: So, we know how you two met and we know a lot of the finer details, but Gemini, weren’t you the least bit scared of Drex?
Gemini: Yeah, he scared the crap out of me after I had time to think about it. But I had such a terrible migraine at the time I was in a fog.
A: He was pretty mean to you at first.
Drex: (Groans) Well, what do you expect? To us, it looked like she was associated with the largest terrorist organization in the world.
A: Good point.
Gemini: Yeah, but those handcuffs. Really, Drex. I think you had other thoughts in mind. (winks)
Drex: I still have those handcuffs, you know.
A: Um, excuse me, but can we get back on topic here? So, Drex, when your house was bombed, how did you know to get out of there?”
Drex: The SUV. I looked outside and saw it parked right under the window and it wasn’t one of mine. I knew we only had minutes, but Huff was right. They were trying to draw us out. It was all planned down to the last detail.
A: Gemini, that shook you up to say the least. Is that when you knew what your true feelings for him were?”
Gemini: (Gives Drex a look before answering) No. I knew before. Probably the night we spent on the ranch in San Angelo. The first time we were really together.
A: What about you Drex?
Drex: (Looks at Gemini with his eyes half closed) I can’t ever remember a time when I haven’t loved her.
(A.M. swoons)
(Gemini grabs his hand)
A: And when she was being held, how did you restrain yourself from running in there with guns a blazing?
Drex: You can’t imagine how many times I wanted to do just that. It was the most difficult struggle of my life, but I knew if my men weren’t back with the information, then I didn’t have a bargaining chip. So I waited and those were the worst days of my life because my imagination ran wild with what they were doing to Gem.
A: And Gemini, did you worry about why he wasn’t coming for you?
Gemini: At first I was so frightened and then I started to think it would take a while for him to find the location of the microchip. But then when the third day came, I started to think something happened.
A: So now what?
Drex: We go back to work.
A: No plans? You know, like wedding bells or things of that nature.
Drex: (Eyes narrow and lips thin) That’s an off limits question.
A: Whoa. Sorry, I didn’t mean to …
Gemini: Drex, don’t be such an ass! No, we don’t have any plans. We want to live like normal people for a while and see how that works for us. Oh, and Drex needs to get to know his parents again.
A: So … no chance of any inside scoop right now then?
Drex: No.
Gemini: (Laughs) He’s so much fun, isn’t he? Well, I can tell you what my personal plans are. I’m going to become the CEO of DWI and boot Drex out of his position.
The look on Drex’s face is priceless.

One day, on her way home from work as a sales manager, A. M. Hargrove, realized her life was on fast forward and if she didn't do something soon, it would quickly be too late to write that work of fiction she had been dreaming of her whole life. So, she rolled down the passenger window of her fabulous (not) company car and tossed out her leather briefcase. Luckily, the pedestrian in the direct line of fire was a dodge ball pro and had über quick reflexes enabling him to avoid getting bashed in the head. Feeling a tad guilty about the near miss, A. M. made a speedy turn down a deserted side street before tossing her crummy, outdated piece-of-you-know-what laptop out the window. She breathed a liberating sigh of relief, picked up her cell phone, called her boss and quit her job. Grinning, she made another call to her hubs and told him of her new adventure (after making sure his heart was beating properly again).
So began A. M. Hargrove's career as a YA/NA and Adult Romance writer.
