Lexi: *Places two open bottles of wine beside each of our guest* We know you around here and have come prepared. But for some of our readers who aren’t as familiar lets fill them in. Crystal, you write with your sister-in-law Melissa. So who married who? And more importantly...how do your spouses handle the two of you putting your heads together and thinking up all these dirty sex scenes? 

Crystal: I married Melissa’s brother. So, when Mel and I talk sex scenes all “hypothetical”, because if she thought for one second I was talking about something with her brother she would want to wash her eyes, ears and brain out with bleach, lol. As long as we pretend we’re talking about our characters, Vin Diesel or Jason Mamoa, we’re good to go.

Lexi: I always pictured a couple husbands sitting across the room, shaking their heads and growing more and more nervous that their own bedroom prowess would be brought into the light. At the very least I hope they are reading each of your books...aaaand gain some pointers. ;) Have either of you ever written a knee melting scene, sat back and wished your husband would recreate your written masterpiece?

Crystal: *looks around to make sure the husband is gone* YES! What woman hasn’t had a fantasy and wished it would happen in real life? I’m waiting for someone to notice that there’s a lot of angry sex in my books.  I LIKE ANGRY SEX. Unfortunately, I don’t fight with my husband much, lol. Maybe I should go pick a fight about something? I can assure everyone though that both Melissa’s husband and my own shake their heads at us often quite though. We’re used to the head shaking over our crazy antics. Hee.

Lexi: Ok, I will quit picking on your husbands. For now. I am itching to pick your brain about your Big Bad Bite series. Book one, Big Bad Bite and book two, Walk on The Striped Side follow the heroine into the first day of a new job. And they both end up facing otherworldly men who happen to be drool worthy. Elena from Walk on The Striped Side  even has her man pushing her to be his mate! Talk about first day on the job jitters. So tell us, do you have a good first day on the job story that sparked these books? Or even just a seriously tempting boss or coworker?

Crystal: Sadly, no. There is no exciting work stories for me. That is purely my imagination at work. And my imagination is a very dangerous thing, so you never know what I’ve got up my sleeve next! One fantasy down, a million more to write about.

Lexi: Getting down and dirty with someone from work is one of those almost taboo things that many people fantasize about. Points for you on picking a good fantasy to bring to life! And points for your heroes being furry beasts. That alpha male draw, can’t resist it. Especially when they take one look at their woman and say “Mine”. What was your favorite Gage alpha moment from Walk on The Striped Side?

Crystal: The handcuff scenes. I loved that Gage wasn’t using them to subdue her sexually, but to literally keep Elena attached to him while he basically kidnapped her and tried to convince her that she would be his mate. Who wouldn’t want to be attached to a hot hunk of tiger shifter? I also loved the sweeter moments where Gage would rub his face while they were lying in bed cuddling to ‘mark’ her with his scent. He can come rub his face all over my chest anytime.

Lexi: Gage is going to give me goosebumps, I just know it. So keep working your way through these shifters! You had about a year in between Big Bad Bite and Walk on The Striped Side. Are you going to make your readers beg and plead for book three to come faster? 

Crystal: Eh… MAYBE. The wait is not intentional, I assure you. Okay, maybe a little intentional because I need to hop on over to my contemporary Ex Ops Series and write Riley Sullivan’s book. That poor man wants his ex-wife back. I also *might* have a super-secret project that I’ll be announcing AFTER Riley’s book. I do plan to write Chloe and Kent’s story as soon as possible though, because I’ve left Lulu in a pickle. 

Lexi: Wait. I should have asked which sexy shifter do we get to see get naked next. That is a much more important question!

Crystal: Next book in the Big Bad Bite Series will be The Demon Who Loved Me, featuring the very sexy playboy demon Kent. He’s been running from his family responsibilities for a long time and now that he’s had to pay up the marker he owed Chloe by stepping into the Ninth Circle Demon Council, he can’t avoid those responsibilities anymore. He plans to take his frustrations out on Chloe in the most delicious ways.

Lexi: Thanks for stopping by for some wine and alpha male - I am talking about Gage Crystal...not your husband.
