Welcome, Ashlyn! Congratulations on your new paranormal romance series debuting April 5th called Boston Dragons! Can you please give us a short summary of what this series will be about? And will any of the Flirting with Fangs characters show up along the ways?
Yes! I’m excited about this new series, especially because we get to revisit characters from both the Flirting with Fangs and the original Strange Neighbors series. These new books could be considered a continuation of the whole Boston cast. Mother Nature is still looking for a few good modern muses, the paranormals are still trying to gather socially—even though their bar burned to the ground at the end of How to Date a Dragon, and now they’ve taken over an apartment on Beacon Street and turned it into a clubhouse… Oh, is that a spoiler? Oh, well. There’s plenty more adventure and mayhem to keep you reading and entertained for hours.
Our hero of I Dream of Dragons is a fiery dragon named, Rory. *Dreamy Sigh* What can you tell us about Rory, and what do you think will make readers fall in love with him?
He and his sisters were run out of Ireland by angry Leprechauns. They tried to fight it, but were up against powerful magic. Because of Boston’s large Irish population and their familiarity with a common language, English, the three Arish siblings agreed that relocating there would be the next best thing. Rory is very protective of his sisters, despite the fact that these lasses insist they can take care of themselves. His charm and humor get him out of all sorts of scrapes, but it doesn’t seem to be working on the one woman he really needs to win over.
Now tell us a bit about our feisty heroine, Amber. What about her do you think will draw readers in?
Amber is a flight attendant, who recently discovered her pilot boyfriend had a girl in every city, and then she comes home to an eviction notice. Her whole apartment building is being turned into condos. When she lands a place in the fancy Back Bay area, she thinks she’s scored big…until she finds out the same place has been rented to a handsome but stubborn Irishman at the same time. Her name is on the lease, but his money is in the landlord’s pocket. As much as she’d love to get to know him better, she’d rather not live with him from day one in her tiny one-bedroom apartment.
Why are Rory and Amber perfect for each other? What about them individually makes them so drawn to one another, and why are readers sure to fall in love with this couple?
As with all great loves, they complete each other. Rory has old-world values (after all…he is about 1,000 years old!) He would never cheat on his lady love. And they make each other better. Amber challenges him, and brings him into the present century. He teases her, and she has to learn to take it—or even better, tease him back.
Thank you so much for joining us today, Ashlyn. Before you go, we just have one last question for you. What was a scene that stood out or was memorable for you when writing I Dream of Dragons and why?
It has to be the one where the two of them learn that possession is 9/10 of the law. Then it’s a race to see who can reach the apartment first.

THE HEAT IS ON
When Rory Arish and his two fiery dragon siblings are run out of their ancestral Irish home, it seems their luck has run out-until they arrive in Boston and find a paranormal-friendly apartment building. Finally, Rory has a place to call home. There's only one problem: Rory's new lair has simultaneously been rented to an infuriating woman who is as stubborn as she is beautiful and will not leave 'her' apartment matter how steamed he may be...
AND SPARKS FLY
Amber McNally is a down-on-her-luck flight attendant. She needs this apartment, and not even a fire-breathing dragon with his Irish charm and scorching good looks is going to scare her away. Holing up in their respective corners, a battle of wills ensues. Who will be the first to blink...or give in to their off-the-charts chemistry and decide to make this unorthodox living arrangement a little more permanent?
