Crystal's Thoughts:

Hunt on Dark Waters was overall an enjoyable read. Tough the plot was a little dull and languid at times I nonetheless continued on. Evelyn and Bowen were interesting characters but I never was 100% with them, I felt that something was missing. Maybe more depth, more charm. They just didn't hook me. The ending was left pretty open for the series to continue, but I am a bit disappointed to see that it will not be a continuing story of Evelyn and Bowen as I felt there wasn't much of a conclusion for them, and will instead focus on Evelyn's ex. Which honestly, I didn't really care for. All in all, an okay read featuring a magical world found between worlds, a questionable ruling body, interesting fae like creatures, and a journey of acceptance and truth. I probably will not be continuing this series though.
